  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers or related systems.
  • Introduce malicious code, or attempt to disrupt or overload the site.
  • Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content without our written permission.

4. Valuations, Quotes and Offers

Valuations and quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation on either side.

Any Offer is an estimate based on the information you provide and is not a binding contract until we have received, inspected and verified the Equipment. Offers are made in good faith using current market conditions and are typically valid for a limited period stated at the time of quoting.

If the Equipment received differs materially from what was described in model, specification, quantity or condition, we may revise the Offer. You may then accept the revised Offer or ask for the Equipment to be returned, with return shipping arranged as agreed between us.

5. Ownership, Title, and Risk

By offering Equipment for sale you confirm that:

  • You are the lawful owner of the Equipment, or are authorized by the owner to sell it.
  • The Equipment is free from any lease, loan, lien, charge or other third-party interest.
  • The sale does not breach any agreement to which you are a party.

Title in the Equipment passes to us on payment. Risk passes in accordance with the shipping or collection arrangements agreed for each transaction. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from a breach of the assurances above.

6. Your Data Responsibilities

You are responsible for meeting your own legal, regulatory and contractual obligations regarding any data held on Equipment before it is transferred to us, including obligations to customers, employees and third parties.

Where we perform data sanitization or destruction, we do so to recognized industry standards and can provide documentation on request. Except where expressly agreed in writing, we accept no responsibility for data left on Equipment prior to transfer.

7. Software and Licences

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, we purchase hardware only. Software licences, subscriptions and support contracts are generally non-transferable and are not included in any sale. You are responsible for removing or de-registering licensed software before transfer where required by your agreements.

8. Collection, Packing and Shipping

Where we arrange collection or freight, we will agree the schedule and requirements with you in advance. You are responsible for providing safe access to the site and for accurately describing access constraints, weights and quantities.

Where you arrange shipping, the equipment must be packed adequately for transit. We are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packing.

9. Payment

Payment is issued after Equipment has been received and verified against the agreed inventory, using the method and timescale agreed for the transaction. You are responsible for providing accurate payment details and for any taxes applicable to the sale on your side.

10. Disclaimers

This website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error free or free of harmful components, and information on this website is provided for general guidance and may change without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or any transaction.

Our total aggregate liability in connection with any transaction shall not exceed the amount paid or payable by us for the Equipment concerned.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Tech Buyer, its officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your breach of the ownership assurances above, or any data left on Equipment transferred to us.
